SCHOOL UNIFORMS…

School uniform has many advantages and disadvantages. It depends on what people think about it. They have their own point of view, therefore we have many different opinions.

Some people think that school uniform is not really good for students because it prevents students from expressing themselves, it can make them feel uncomfortable, and they don´t want to be seen the same as all the students. I work in a school where the pupils have uniform. For me it is good because it makes them equal, no one is better than their partner.

First of all, school uniforms help students be distinct from other people. We can identify whether they are students or not at school or even outside school if they are wearing uniforms. Moreover, students who are wearing uniforms can be helped by many people.

Secondly, school uniforms make students feel equal. The worst thing that could happen at school is that if you identify who are the rich students and who are not, you will treat them differently, although you don´t realize that! Then, poor students who know your unkind behaviours may feel uncomfortable, miserable and disappointed. They don´t have any encouragement to study hard, and they might be very bad students. But if students are required to wear school uniforms, you won´t recognize who is rich or who is poor.

In conclusion, uniforms don´t only help students to be distinct from other people, but also make them feel equal to other students. Furthermore, they can feel proud of their current schools if they are recognized by lots of people. Therefore, in my opinion, I think school uniforms should be required but it depends on different opinions. As I say before there are many people who agree with uniforms and there are other people who disagree with them.
